shopping with the pros
I had a "jeans and designer things" party on thursday night. Basically a lady comes to your house and sets up a store worth of clothes. I invited neighbors and friends. She brought about 20 bins of clothes and about 300 pairs of designer jeans. SO COOL! She had everything! Names like Hudson, miss me, True religion, Seven, Diesel, Citizens, DO, Antik Denim, taverniti, Lucky, IT, and a few more! Here are a few pictures of what our house looked like!

shopping!!!
Dad, Kathryn, Rylee, and I all went to park city for the evening to eat some dinner and do a little shopping. Well like usual when they take us shopping I couldn't find anything to get for myself but everything is SO cute in a size 18 month! We walked into a store and I found this little coat for Rylee, so I tried it on her just for fun. The problem is that Rylee LOVES clothes! Even better, she Loves to shop for her clothes!!! So when she got to try on a new coat, she assumed it was hers and walked out the door. After directing her back into the store, she walked right up to grandpa and with her sweetest voice said "thhhank youuu". Grandpa couldn't resist that voice, OR face so he handed Rylee some money for the coat. Sadly she knew exactly what to do with it. She walked right up to the counter and handed it to the girl working. Probably the cutest thing I have ever seen, but at the same time made me a little sick. How in the world does my 16 month old daughter know how to pay for her own clothes, let alone even care how to!!!!
Note to self...
Rylee and I were outside working in the yard yesterday. Rylee absolutely loves to play with rocks. She is fascinated by them... So when I found her on the porch playing with a little brown rock and singing to it I thought nothing of it and went back to yard work. I was just about done and ready to turn on the sprinklers when I asked Rylee if she wanted a Popsicle and a bath! She jumped up, went inside, dropped her "rock" just beneath the freezer and waited for me to open the wrapper for her. She was then off to the bath. I thought I had better throw away the rock on the way after her. I bent down and to my surprise it was NOT a rock, only a dried up piece of Quincy poop. YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! I had let my daughter play with a piece of dog poop for about 30 minutes. Not only play with, but SING to!!!!! What kind of mother am I??????? So... my note to self for the day is not only to check on Rylee while on the porch, also see exactly what Rylee is doing!!! (the flowers in this picture are not in our yard... dont think that is what i was doing when I say "yard work")

sweet little SUGAR!!!
Well today Sarah and I found Miss Rylee Kate in the pantry with the huge tub of licorice. Licorice is one of Rylee's favorite treats! I wouldn't mind so much if Rylee could figure out how to just eat the licorice and not cover the entire kitchen with RED little Rylee hand prints! After the licorice, Rylee was thirsty. Water is just no good with sweets so of course Rylee goes right over and helps herself to my diet coke. Whats mine is Rylee's! The cup is big for such a little girl! How could you get mad with a smile like that!!!

Nana's house!
Rylee had a great time at Nanas house! Im not sure if its because of all the "new" toys, or because Nana lets her so WHATEVER she wants! I want Rylee dry, Nana pulls out the hose. I want rylee clean, Nana pulls out the shovel and leads her to the dirt. I want Rylee to go to sleep, Nana comes into the room to "rescue her"! When I say whatever, I mean it! It was so fun to see her show off all her tricks to a whole new bunch of people. She would do a trick then clap for herself. If she could pat herself on the back believe me she would! Thanks mom for the fun vacation! We had a blast!!
Finally!
Hello everyone! Rylee and I decided to finally jump on the bandwagon! I know it's taken forever! If I would have known how easy it was I would have done it a long time ago... Rylee is getting so big! She is a little fish at the pool! She is finally starting to "talk" a little. Her favorite new words are dada (grandpa) and IYA (sarah). She stands at the botton of the stairs and YELLS, IYA IYA until she gets a "Hi Rylee" reply. It is too funny. In all my great efforts the word MAMA is a huge joke to her. She will not say it! I say MAMA and she says back DADA with a huge grin on her face. It's now turned into a game. She also barks, roars, moos (thanks to uncle paul who has a great moo himself), and quacks like a duck. She thinks she is the worlds cutest girl... Which if I do say so myself she is! Well, we hope you are all doing great! Miss you!!!
