Dad, Kathryn, Rylee, and I all went to park city for the evening to eat some dinner and do a little shopping. Well like usual when they take us shopping I couldn't find anything to get for myself but everything is SO cute in a size 18 month! We walked into a store and I found this little coat for Rylee, so I tried it on her just for fun. The problem is that Rylee LOVES clothes! Even better, she Loves to shop for her clothes!!! So when she got to try on a new coat, she assumed it was hers and walked out the door. After directing her back into the store, she walked right up to grandpa and with her sweetest voice said "thhhank youuu". Grandpa couldn't resist that voice, OR face so he handed Rylee some money for the coat. Sadly she knew exactly what to do with it. She walked right up to the counter and handed it to the girl working. Probably the cutest thing I have ever seen, but at the same time made me a little sick. How in the world does my 16 month old daughter know how to pay for her own clothes, let alone even care how to!!!!

Note to self...
Rylee and I were outside working in the yard yesterday. Rylee absolutely loves to play with rocks. She is fascinated by them... So when I found her on the porch playing with a little brown rock and singing to it I thought nothing of it and went back to yard work. I was just about done and ready to turn on the sprinklers when I asked Rylee if she wanted a Popsicle and a bath! She jumped up, went inside, dropped her "rock" just beneath the freezer and waited for me to open the wrapper for her. She was then off to the bath. I thought I had better throw away the rock on the way after her. I bent down and to my surprise it was NOT a rock, only a dried up piece of Quincy poop. YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! I had let my daughter play with a piece of dog poop for about 30 minutes. Not only play with, but SING to!!!!! What kind of mother am I??????? So... my note to self for the day is not only to check on Rylee while on the porch, also see exactly what Rylee is doing!!! (the flowers in this picture are not in our yard... dont think that is what i was doing when I say "yard work")
