Foot Poison

Tonight after Granny Kate's
BIRTHDAY PARTY
Rylee and Uncle (Spencer)
were playing a game of Crazy 8.

Rylee must have been sitting
on her knees to long.

She got up off the ground when the game was over
and climbed up onto my lap.
Rylee then told me that her foot has poison in it.
I asked her if her foot felt funny
She said yes mom, I just told you there is poison in it.

haha

I told her that her foot has fallen
asleep because she had been sitting on it funny.

She looked at me like I was crazy.

CLEARLY IT HAD BEEN INJECTED WITH POISON

Bless You

Tonight we were in the car
Rylee has a cold
AGAIN

She was breathing hard in the back seat
so I looked to see if she was asleep

Nope.
Just sitting quietly breathing hard.

I asked...
Mommy: Ry what are you doin?
Ry: I just almost had a Bless You.
Mommy: A bless you huh
Ry: Yep

Goodbyes are no good

Aunt Shalyce had baby Maddix in November.
We hadn't been able to make it up to meet this
handsome boy yet so this trip was
extra special being able to see him!
Shalyce and Maddix spent a lot of time with us.
It was so fun to have them around and
baby Maddix is adorable and cuddly;)

Rylee loved holding Maddix.
She did a great job giving him his binky.

Rylee and Nana had non-stop
play time everyday.
Rylee was exhausted when it came to bedtime.
She slept 13 to 14 hours every night.
Here they are playing dominoes.

Since Rylee and Nana are two pees in a pod
It only seems natural that they would both love to clean.
Mondays are clean the house day for Nana and
Rylee was happy to help;)

While digging through the dress up box Ry
found pom-poms and a tutu.

Nana,
being a former cheerleader,
had tons of "moves" to show Ry.

We were all extra sad that the trip had to end.
Rylee and Nana were both a couple of
sobbing babies at the airport.
I held it together
(until Nana drove away)
We always have so much fun in Washington with
our family and friends but this last trip was
extra hard to say goodbye to.

Can't wait to head back up again;)

Bay View State Park

Washington Beaches are Beautiful.
Everything is so green.
The smell is so fresh.

If you go prepare to be cold.
Be prepared for rocks not sand.
Be prepared to get dirty.

So fun finding pretty sea shells

Courtney helped find shells and crabs.
Ry wasn't fond of getting close to the crabs
or the idea of touching them.
They were fun to look at from a distance.
I can't blame her.
I didn't want to touch them either.

~She is such a girly girl~

We lucked out and had wonderful weather
for most of our trip!

A trip down Cherokee Lane

I was out for a run one morning in Mt. Vernon.
I decided to run past the home I grew up in.
When I reached the driveway I stopped to admire
and think of a few memories in the
only house I remember living in as a kid.
As I was peering a car drove in.
A nice lady got out of the car. I decided to walk down
the driveway and ask if she lived in the house.
-Do you live here?
-Yes!
-I grew up in this house.
-You did? Would you like to come inside and look around?
-SERIOUSLY? DO YOU MIND?

I got to go inside my old house.
I love this house.
I think of this house often.
I dream about this house.
Every time I go to Washington I drive past this house.
I remember this house to be SO big!
It's not all that big but
the memories I have in this house are HUGE!

When Spencer and I would get off the school bus
and walk home we would walk up this street here.
The name is Cherokee Ln.
These bushes were up to my 1st grade knees.
I used to walk OVER these shrubs everyday.
Every time I see them now I am amazed at how big they have grown!

Fun at the farm

We had such a fun trip to Nana's!
Nana took us to a farm she
has listed so I could take
some pictures of Ry.
I got a new camera for Christmas so it
was fun to try it out in
Beautiful Washington with a Beautiful Girl;)

I heart this kid

Grandpa bought both of
us our very own roses this year.
Rylee was in heaven.
