::sick sick sick::

Do you have any idea what this is...

I wish I didn't know...
Instead I get to know and try to use

Yep,
you're right!

this is a complete stool collecting kit.
Complete with gloves and a fancy cup with
a lid that screws on.

WHAT???
You ask who it's for?
Well, if it was for me I can tell you one thing...
I would NOT be telling you about it!

Poor Ry has been sick for over 2 weeks now.
The first 9 days were bad... REALLY BAD.

Every time I think she is doing better she gets worse.
Today she went in for her 4 year old
well child check.
oh how I wish she was well;)
Rylee is 90% for height
and 78% for weight.
Over the past 2 weeks she has gone from
42 lbs to 38 lbs.
Today after school Rylee's stomach started
acting up again. After rolling around on the carpet
for 30 minutes and using the bathroom
a couple of times I called the doctor.
Did I mention Rylee's Doctor is amazing!!!
We L.O.V.E. her.
She decided to check for everything
known to stool.
Lucky for me I get to collect and take to lab;)

Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear
RYLEE
Happy birthday to you!!

Wow have 4 years flown by!
I cant believe my little lady is 4 today!

This year Rylee will be having a very long
and eventful BIRTHDAY

Traditionally you open presents
around dinner time and have cake and ice cream
after. We did things a little backward
this year because Rylee has school then
another birthday party with her dad this evening.
When Rylee woke up her presents
were waiting for her on the kitchen table.
Still in pj's we opened every single one of them;)

After presents Rylee decided she wanted
to play baseball. We went outside and played!
After showering up Rylee wanted to
go to library story time. We arrived at 10:30
just in time. When story time was over we met
Sarah, Josh, Grandpa Lewis, Grandpa Walker,
Jessica, Aspen, and Irelynn at McDonald's for
some lunch and a play date!

I went to "nothing bundt cakes"
yesterday and grabbed a couple of
these DELICIOUS cakes to take with us to lunch.
Perfect size and SO yummy!
Rylee hasn't quite mastered the art
of blowing out candles yet.
I helped her;)

Grandpa Walker decided it was time
to teach Rylee.
She mastered the skill on round 2.

On our way to preschool we made a quick stop
at Granny Kate's office to take her a piece of
cake and give her a hug!

I am going to speak for Rylee and say...
Its been a great 4th Birthday!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Rylee Roo...
I sure L.O.V.E. you!!!

Today is my b-day party... but today is not my b-day?

Today we celebrated
Rylee's 4th Birthday!
We had a big party
at bouncing off the walls.
Rylee has been waiting for this
day to arrive for a while now!

She is still a little confused.
Rylee woke up today and asked...

So mom, today is my birthday party right?

Yep it sure is!

But it isn't my birthday today?

That's right, your birthday is on Tuesday.

hmmmmm..........
Ok well when do we get to go to bouncing off the walls??

today.

Rylee slept in sponge rollers last
night so she would have perfectly
curled hair for the big day!

::Mommy and the birthday girl::

We were very lucky to
have so many friends and family
join us for such a special day!
Aunt Missy and Nora were in town
and so was Grandpa Lewis!!

2 words to explain our afternoon...
C.O.M.P.L.E.T.E. C.H.A.O.S.
oops... i meant to say
E.X.T.R.E.M.E.L.Y. F.U.N

Rylee picked out her cake this year...
a pretty rainbow!

lots of friends=lots of gifts!

These are all of the kids who helped
Rylee celebrate her 4th birthday
this year! Glad you all could come!
It sure was a fun day!!!

Sick and still hilarious

Ry was up all night
sick
I have been cleaning dried puke
all morning...
too much info?
Sorry;)

Anyways...
Today she is home sick from school.
She is a little bored...
A little tired...
Never to far from the bathroom.
Poor kid.

She is still hilarious though.
She must have been in the office
going through the drawers
because she came to me looking like this...

"Mommy, can you send me to Nana's house?"

If life were only that easy!
Funny what this chic comes up with;)

Conversation of the day...

Tonight my sidekick and I were out
after dinner in search of a sugar cookie.
Mission accomplished;)
Paradise Bakery has amazing cookies!

On our drive home Rylee asks:
Rylee: Mommy, why do fish die?
Mommy: Well eventually everything dies.
Rylee: Not houses!
Mommy: You're right, houses do not die.
Rylee: ...And bears don't live in houses.

Rylee: Mommy, where do bunnies live?
Mommy: Well some bunnies live outside, some live in a cage,
and some live at the pet store.

Rylee: Mommy, what do Kelli's Pajamas look like?
(Kelli is our amazing neighbor, like another mom to us)
Mommy: I'm not sure.
Rylee: Okay... Stop at her house and I will go ask her.
Mommy: Kelli is on vacation. Sorry. You can ask her
when you see her next time.

Rylee: Mommy, What does Mark's Pajamas look like?
(Mark is also our neighbor. Ry loves to go check on
Mark, his wife Cherie, and there dog Mercedes. They are
like family as well)
Mommy: I'm not sure.
Rylee: well, can you stop in his driveway so I can go ask him?
Mommy: No darling, not tonight;)

Rylee constantly cracks me up.
She is ALWAYS thinking.
You can see it in her eyes and all over her face.
Very curious little girl.
So loving.
Always asking to help me with WHATEVER I'm doing.
Loves to clean.
Has the most polite manners of any 3 year old I have EVER met.
Such a soft heart.
Always willing to give someone a big kiss and hug
when she can tell they are sad.
Very energetic!
Obsessed with dancing and showing off!
Loves to be the center of attention;)
LOVES her family...
especially all of her grandparents!
Way too smart for her own good.

I am so lucky to have this chic as my daughter.
She is the L.O.V.E. of my life.
I can't believe she is almost 4.
Time flies bye.

Easter Evening

Grandpa and Granny Kate
Andrew, Sarah, and Josh
Spencer and Brittany
Mommy and Rylee

We all went to the Country Club
for a nice Easter dinner!

Mommy and beautiful Rylee

The Easter Bunny showed up at dinner!
Mr. Bunny couldn't even
sit down before Rylee jumped
up onto his lap.

You would think that the egg hunt and overflowing
basket that Bunny had already given
Rylee would be enough.
Apparently not...
He brought another gift!
A pink stuffed bunny;)

Once Josh noticed what Rylee was up
to he was more than happy to join her!
I love his big cheesy smile in this picture!

The fun just kept on going!
After the Easter Bunny said his goodbyes
two ponies were waiting outside ready for riders!

I'm pretty sure Rylee rode on the pony 8 times.
I'm positive that is more than ANY other kid there!

Easter morning

Easter morning was great!
I had to wake the diva up...
she looked at me and said
"mom I'm still tired"
I kindly reminded her that
the Easter Bunny made his
appearance and had a full basket waiting for her!

That is ALL it took!
She JUMPED out of bed and RAN into the family room!

The Easter Bunny left some
fun things in her Easter basket.
No complaints coming from this chic;)

Sneaky Little Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny dropped off
a surprise Easter egg hunt Saturday night!
Boy is that bunny a sneaky little guy...

He left a note by the back door with
"magic"
bunny glasses.
The note stated that
in order to
"see"
the hidden eggs the glasses had to be worn.

As you can see by the giant smile
...the hunt was a huge success...

Brightly colored Easter eggs

Rylee and I spent the past
week down in St. George for her spring break.
We did pretty much anything AND everything
possible for a 3 year old enjoyment.
The trip was all about Rylee.
Coloring Easter eggs happens
to be one of the highlights of the trip for Miss Ry.
It was so fun this year because she could
pretty much do it all on her own.
All I had to do was supervise and make
sure she didn't make a mess of Grandpa's
back patio;)
