My uncle thinks I look 90 in this pic;)

Miss. Thang had her eye appointment today.
It was an EARLY appointment, hence the pj's
Ry has great eyes!
No glasses necessary for the diva.
She would have been darling in a pair
but I'm glad she doesn't have to deal with them.
They had to dilate her eyes.
Poor thing thought she was going blind.
Scared the little lady to death!
She did
get to wear these fancy dancy glasses home!

I'm always so amazed with how brave my
3 year old Rylee Roo is.
The doctors were quite impressed as well!
Way to go Ry! I love you!

Sun one day... Snow the next

I knew yesterday was going to be our
last nice day for a while so I decided to take
the Diva to the farm at Thanksgiving point.
She had a blast as usual!

Here she is on her pony
She named him Patty

Rylee seems to enjoy posing for pics lately.

Since today was COLD with on and off SNOW
Ry and I were both thinking that soup and rolls sounded good
for dinner. Of course Rylee wanted to help!
She LOVES the kitchen, and she LOVES being helpful!
It is so fun to have her help me bake and cook.
The kitchen mess is quite a bit bigger with my
"helper" but her smile makes it all worth while!
I can still remember helping my mom
in the kitchen and how much i LOVED it too!

little fishie

At swimming lessons last week
they took under water pics of the kids.

Rylee has become quite the little swimmer
over the past 18 months.
I'm hoping she will be ready to join the swim team
At Willow Creek next summer!
Not only does Rylee LOVE swimming...
She has got quite the talent for it.
The newest stroke she is working on is the

Although swimming is fun and her teacher is awesome...
The slide and diving board will always be a favorite
for my little dare devil!

Shot, Speech, Stylin Shades, and Shopping

Miss had a doctor appt today to check
vision and speech.
are a problem.
She has 20/40 in each eye so
she will probably be getting a stylin'
pair of glasses here shortly.
Speech is another obstacle she must overcome.
We will be enrolling in a little therapy very soon as well.

I promised Rylee that she wouldn't have to get a
at the doctor today. That's always a serious concern of hers.
Since she has been, and still is, sick they didn't
want to give Ry the mist flu vaccine.
They wanted to give her the shot.

I felt so bad.
I really wasn't tricking her!

The doctor also said that the cold she has
might be swine... awesome!

After the doctor today I decided like mother like daughter
Rylee needed a little retail therapy herself.
We went shopping!
Rylee couldn't even make it home to open her new
treasure (barbie) before she was snoring.
3 hours later she awoke...

... and decided a movie and popcorn would make her feel better.

sweet girl

*Rylee is such a sweet little girl.
*She is always giving great big bear hugs.
*She is attached at the hip to her Grandpa.
*She brightens up the life instantly to
everyone she is around.
*She is getting better at sharing.
*She loves to give kisses.
*She waves at every neighbor on our walks.
*She asks Grandpa how is golf game was for the day.
*She always says "I love you mama"
*Every night at bedtime she asks what my favorite
part of the day was.
*Every morning when she wakes up she first asks for
a milky cup of course. Shortly after she asks
if I had a good night sleep.
*She loves school.
*She loves every single one of her grandparents
VERY MUCH! She Even loves her friends
grandparents like they are her own.
She makes my life incredible!

Today I was having a sad moment.
I try not to have these "moments" very often,
esp. around the diva.
She asked why I was sad.
I told her sometimes mommys even get sad,
just like Rylees do.
My sweet Angel then said...
Mommy would a song make you happy
because I can sing to you!

~Oh life IS so simple when you're 3~
