Nana's or bust
We fly to NaNa's today!!!!!!!
Rylee's paper chain is finally all gone.
We are both so excited
to play and hang out with family for the next 10 days.

Cafe Free-o?
Oh how I love Cafe Rio
...
Do you see anything wrong with this picture?
...
Diet Coke- check
fork- check
Knife- check
salsa- check
What's missing????
...
yes, you guessed right
NO DRESSING
Who in there right mind would order Cafe Rio to go,
pick it up,
get it home,
notice that there is NO creamy dressing,
and STILL eat it?
Nope, not me.
I drove all the way back.
I walked in and said:
Kelsey: I just got HOME with my salad
and there is no dressing.
Cafe Rio worker: Let me get a manager.
Manager: I hear you didn't get your dressing.
I REALLY want to make this up to you.
(walks away and returns)
Here is an extra dressing!
Kelsey: I don't need an extra dressing.
...
Is this some kind of sick joke?
An extra dressing... are you kidding me?
I was thinking here is dessert on us.
Here is a full stamped card so your next meal is free.
Here is YOUR money back.
...
Oh how I love you Cafe Rio...
sometimes that is

SsSsSsSs
"S"
is coming along quite nicely
Rylee only learned the sound
sssss on Wed and now is
saying it almost perfect!
Its amazing what 20 minutes
of "homework" a day will do!

of "homework" a day will do!
I have tried to make the practicing
as fun as possible.
We play "S" bingo,
color with new markers;)
do flash cards,
and now were working on writing.
It also helps that Rylee has been begging
to do homework for over a year now.
I have had to make things up and tell her they are homework.
She feels so big to have homework just like older kids

undeniable unicorn
Rylee loves unicorns.
What diva doesn't like them.
Just so you know,
they are real around our house.
What diva doesn't like them.

Tonight after brushing teeth,
reading stories,
having the 3rd last sip of water,
and being all tucked in I thought
my exhausted Ry had finally drifted off to sleep.
WRONG
she hadn't.
She was quietly letting her mind wander.
Oh was it wandering...
Out of nowhere she sat up straight in bed,
looked at me with a serious look and said
"mom what do unicorns eat"
I tried my hardest not to giggle.
so cute
so innocent
so real
so imaginative
so interested
so sincere
I thought about this for a bit.
What do unicorns eat?
I then let my mind wander.
I managed to come up with a lot of
funny responses however non of them were appropriate.
I answered with hay.
That answer cured the curiosity,
for the night anyway;)

S.P.E.E.C.H.
Rylee started speech this week!
She has gone to a couple different evaluations
over the past few weeks where they
determined that she is in the 2nd %
for speech out of kids tested for her age.
This is no surprise to me.
Her little voice and the way she
says her words cracks me up.
I wish she could stay like this forever, but I know that
would be bad... very bad!
Wednesday Rylee went to her first day of speech.
It's a preschool setting with 6 other kids and 2 teachers.
The BEST part is that it's at a BIG KID school.
This is SO cool to a 3 1/2 year old:)
This week they practiced the letter S.
Rylee got to go all around the school with these awesome
binoculars on a "field trip".
They were so cool we had to come right home and make some
of our very own...
